Statoil Lubricants has designed a product with the most environ mentally adapted
components available, without compromising on the technical properties.
Statoil Multi Dope Yellow is specially designed for
the severe demands off-shore, but also suitable for
a number of applications within general industrial
lubrication.
It offers unique performance as a thread compound
for drill pipes, casing and tubing. The wide range
capability offers a lot of additonal applications such
as greasing the gear pinion teeth and leg reck teeth on jack-up platform. In fact, everywhere when
slow movements and high loads are a part of the
challenge.
Multi Dope Yellow offers enhanced endurance to
high pressure momentum and lowers the required
torque, resulting in savings both in time and damaged material.

One product on the rig
Statoil Multi Dope Yellow offers excellent performance for several applications on the rig, such as
jacking, skidding, lubricating the iron roughneck,
top drive saver sub, dope for casing, tubing, drill
pipe and as storage dope.
Furthermore Statoil Multi Dope Yellow works
perfectly for lubrication of open gears and as
mounting paste.

Characteristics
Statoil Multi Dope Yellow is formulated with readilly
biodegradeable synthetic esters thickened with a
lithium-calcium complex soap. Non-metallic solids
provides excellent lubricity and surface separation.

Classified as ISO-L-XDDFB0-0,5 per ISO 6743/9.
Classified as KGOEP0-0,5.5N-40 per DIN 51502.

Classified as Yellow Y1 according to the Norweigian offshore environmental guidelines, based on
HOCNF documentation. Classified as OCNS group “E”, according to Cefas. Formulated with renewable
materials and natural minerals.
